The Price of Beauty

So I've enjoyed watching the different episodes of Jessica Simpsons documentary show where she travels to different countries and looks at the different cultural definitions of beauty.

This specific one struck out as the complete opposite of what we are told here in America, but still, shines a light that beauty comes in every shape and size.
I thought I would share.

The Price of Beauty

Let me know what you think! :)

  1. I thought it was interesting how people in China do a surgery were they can increase their height. The doctors break their leg bones so that new bone can grow in between the fractures in their bones.
Americans might think that is crazy but then again Americans do a lot of crazy surgeries too.
Anyways, I hope you make a youtube video soon!
Even a tiny eensy weetsy itty bitty video would be much appreciated and enjoyed =D
    Much love,
    Sharon

  2. lol I finally finished watching the episode and the "fattening hut" part was a weired mix of funny and sad. I felt bad for that poor woman who had to sit in that hut and drink milk all day. But I guess that's just tradition over in Uganda.
